Visa Service

Visitors from many countries require a visa in order to enter Germany. A current list of all countries subject to visa requirements as well as those for which no visa is necessary can be viewed at:  www.auswaertiges-amt.de

The AIRTEC Visa Service sends personal invitations to exhibitors and trade visitors from countries with a visa requirement. You can use this invitation to apply at the relevant embassy or consulate general for a visa for your stay in Germany during AIRTEC. This invitation can make the application process easier, but it cannot guarantee that you will be given a visa. The final decision for rejection or issue of a visa is taken by the relevant embassy.

Application Procedure

As a rule, you must submit your visa application, together with all necessary documents, in person at the German mission responsible for your place of residence. In order to avoid time-consuming requests for additional information or documentation, you should contact the respective mission well in advance of the trade fair date to inquire about any special local requirements pertaining to visa formalities. Visa application forms can be obtained from the AIRTEC website (see below). The application form must be filled in and sent to the following address in Word format to service.airtec(at)demat(dot)com. We will send you the original version via post, in order to submit it to the competent mission.

Please note that we are only able to handle application forms in Word format. As a rule, missions require between two and ten working days to decide on an application for a short stay visa. During the peak travel season there may be a waiting period for making the application to the German mission. If a visa is required to enter Germany, the application should therefore be submitted in good time.

We look forward to seeing you at AIRTEC!
